Sukkos in the Park with Judy: A Havdallah Ritual and Committment Ceremony for Fagelehs and Their Friends Between Revolutions in Preparation for the Coming Jubilee, Philadelphia, PA (2017)

Director/Performer

A site-specific performance & queer community ritual inspired by the Jewish harvest festival of Sukkot, featuring iconic feminist Judys throughout time and history: Judith Butler, Judy Grahn, Judge Judy, Judy Garland, Saint Jude, Judy Chicago, and the Book of Judith. Presented in Philadelphia's Judy Garland Park, a historic site for gay cruising.

Written and produced by Ezra Berkley Nepon in collaboration with Tikkun Olam Chavuah, Jewish Voice for Peace Philadelphia, and the local community.
